Mail from over there! - Now it's your turn!

Theatre project seeks people from Düsseldorf for a conversation about origin, identity and "them over there"!

+++ Talk to us and become part of the joint theatre performance by the Asphalt Festival Düsseldorf and the Kunstfest Weimar.+++

For the theatre performance "Post from over there!" the theatre group Futur3 is looking for different people from Düsseldorf with whom they would like to talk about their personal relationship to their city and their view of the people on the other side of the republic:
How do you see the people, mentality and culture in East Germany? Have prejudices or actual differences changed? Or are there no significant differences at all? What would you like to share with "those over there"? Are there objects, activities or songs and texts that clarify your opinion and at the same time best tell about you and your origins?

The theatre makers from Futur3 collect the statements, stories and objects from the participants, arrange them in a large postal package and bring it to Weimar. The package and the wrapped materials then form the centre for a performance at the Kunstfest Weimar.
Futur3 does the same with people in Weimar. Their "postal package" comes to Düsseldorf and becomes part of a performance at the Asphalt Festival in the Christuskirche.

Are you interested in helping to pack? Give me a call or write to me, I'm looking forward to it!
